“Communication is key in any situation and that is why I coach others to improve their communication by being a Communication Coach.

People are  my passion!  You will find that I am not your typical 9 to 5 kind of person.  I love to create. Over the years I have done things I wanted to do and not limited my thinking by saying, “I can’t.” I will just jump in and do. The wide variety of experience this has given me creates the ability to connect to all sorts of people with all sorts of backgrounds. I have experience in sales and marketing, I have worked in factories, as a maid, as a Corporate Coach for a large market firm. I have ProStaffed for Zebco and traveled the Pro fishing circuit as a Woman Professional Bass Fishing. I am a top producing real estate agent in Arizona. I am a published author, columnist and Coach. I don’t tell you this to brag, I tell you because I am just like you…I just don’t tell myself I can’t!

Parenting can be one of the rewarding and one of the most stressful times in a persons life. I enjoy coaching others through to solutions so they can enjoy their children and the process without dreading it. As a stay at home mom for 13 years, I taught myself to crochet, cook, bake, garden, wallpaper, paint, and most of all, parent.  I studied and read the bible and led bible studies, I read about spirituality, personal growth and human nature. I do not profess any religion, much to my friends dismay at times. I simply embrace life and all the people in it. In 2000, I wrote a personal Mission Statement and I have found that it still holds true to this day.

ABOUT MICHELLE SHELTON
Michelle’s expertise in critical aspects of business management includes communication, marketing, branding, customer relations and employee development. She has held positions as recruiter for Sears and managed the In-Store Promotions of 14 Arizona Stores. She was a recruiter and the training coordinator with Keller Williams Realty and teaches skills such as listening, tactful negotiation and client service excellence. Michelle has developed her own communications training programs over the years and taught them to others quite successfully.

In real estate, her listing presentation differs greatly from other agents who take a selling approach. Michelle offers clients options and then gives them freedom to choose what is right for them with no pressure or hard sales pitches. As a buyer’s agent, she asks the right questions to determine her clients home buying goals and then develops a strategy that will best meet these goals. She commits her time and energy to making her clients goals…her goals.

Michelle’s off the charts enthusiasm, high level of client commitment and strong work ethic makes her an asset to any industry you maybe considering having her coach you through.  An avid reader, she constantly brings new ideas and concepts to her clients, her way of looking at the world is refreshing and positive.

Clients began calling Michelle the teaching agent because of the extensive consulting she does with them.  During her initial meeting with you, she teaches the process you will face when working with her as your coach. She believes this removes much of the anxiety and stress you may have about working through issues with a coach. Many people don’t know exactly what to expect in a coaching relationship. She does not agree with an aggressive approach. She embraces the idea of being clever, confident and assertive in getting things completed and takes a Win / Win approach.

Her background includes a wide range of experiences outside of parenting. They include: writing, marketing, business planning, public relations campaigns, market research and product positioning.  She has developed special skills and knowledge in customer management including value-added communications, service excellence, and customer referral networking and appreciation programs. You would be surprised at how much this helps when you are negotiating with a stubborn child!

Michelle’s entrepreneurial spirit stems from growing up in a family owned business in Nebraska.  Her father was a successful businessman who single-handedly branded his company name by becoming an innovator in the self-service gasoline industry.  He took a small bait shop and turned it into a Multi-Million dollar chain of Convenience Stores.  Michelle gained a wealth of practical knowledge by working closely with her father on different aspects of the business, working at, and eventually managing, several of the stores herself. Michelle has always had a competitive spirit  and moved to Arizona to Bass fish professionally. Prior to Real Estate, Michelle founded Our Daily Bread, a bakery equipment business in Omaha and in order to develop greater visibility for her business she taught adult education classes through Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska. She provided marketing and Public Relation services for Weather Wise Roofing, and Getko Group , a division of Cendant.  As mentioned, she has managed the in-store promotions for Sears in 14 Arizona stores. Michelle also held marketing and sales positions for various other companies in the EastValley.  Michelle’s creative imagination gives her an edge in home sales through newsletters, advertising, layouts, and sales flyers.  Michelle has the tireless energy necessary to meet the challenge of  a successful and painless Real Estate transaction. Her negotiation skills stem from an attitude of creating a win/win situation for everyone involved.  She does not view herself as an aggressive salesperson, rather an assertive professional and her goal is to have everyone walk away from the closing table with everything they wanted…at the price they wanted to pay.
